Yes, the most wonderful day of the year...GIRL CHRISTMAS! One day a year a few of my dear friends get together to celebrate.
We eat, exchange gifts, laugh incredibly hard & this year we even made a little thrifting stop & crafted. Girl Christmas has been a tradition since early high school & we look forward to it all year long. The 6 of us girls live in 5 different cities across 3 states. But, nothing stops Girl Christmas. I think where we are all living now is one of the things that makes these last few years so super special.
This year we drew names for gifts & it could either be handmade or thrifted. Considering thrifting & crafting are 2 of our very favorite things it only made sense.
I got a super sweet picnic basket from sweet Shannon. How well does she know me that she even wrapped some mustard yellow yarn around the handle...precious! I cannot wait to take my fam on some picnics!
I crafted a few (super random) things for sweet Jenna. I took a wood slice & painted it with chalkboard paint, made some fabric tape & crocheted some boot cuffs!
Everything the girls came up with was so wonderful!
I just love my friends a lot & it's so great getting to spend some sweet time with them.
I'm sure some of these girlies will blog about Girl Christmas as well
